Should prisoners of war from other countries be tried in the United States, when trying to close Guantanamo Bay?

No they should not be tried in the United States. Well first of all i don't even think that Guantanamo Bay should be closing. I feel like we will not know where to put the prisoners and i know i wouldn't feel comfortable with them in the United States, especially if they are from a different country they should go to a prison back at their home. If they are from a different country they should have trial where they are from so that their rights apply to them, they should not have the same rights as Americans.

  1. They aren't Americans they shouldn't have the rights. Therefore they shouldn't have a trial in America.

  2. I think that its a good idea to close Guantanamo Bay because its known for a torture prison. If an American were imprisoned somewhere else we would want them to be treated according to international rules.

  4. I believe that the prisoners should be tried in the countries where they committed their crime, if there going to commit a crime in a country other then their own they should be prepared to receive those consequences of that country

  5. i agree with you, if they are willing to commit a crime in a certain country they should be willing to accept the consequences of that crime
